The Hanssen Family is an adorable family that I was lucky enough to meet last year. Their joy warms the crisp fall days. And their smiles… ah, they make me melt. We met for a fun day in the park, and God gave us this yummy sunshine to highlight their joy. It is so fun to watch these little guys grow up. Hank even asked me if he looked bigger. Yes, Hank, you look big, and you can jump off bigger things now. Such joy for life. Can’t you just not help but smile with his joy for life?
And this guy… a bit more of a somber view of life… but definitely just as much passion. His concentration is impeccable.
The littlest one… tried his very hardest not to smile. The “I’m not smiling face” makes me smile just as much I think. So much personality!
All good little boy pictures include a sword fight… this year we went for the noodle wars. We won’t mention who won.
Someday very soon he’ll be a part of noodle wars. In the meantime, mom & dad get to soak up some lovin’.
What do you get when you ask two awesome boys which they’d rather do, give a big ol’ hug, or tackle mom & dad? why, tackle, of course.

ok, this one might be one of my favorites…. notice the sequence…. Hank mischievously puts a leaf on dad’s head…. chaos happens …. the leaf remains.
I am oh so very impressed with these two. They have amazing parenting skills, as evidence by their great boys. And look how they love each other. Someday maybe I’ll glean some of their wisdom by taking their photos :) But seriously, you guys blow me away at your love for each other, your boys, and the way you have taught them. Thank you for letting me be a part of your memory making.
