On this rainy fall day in Salt Lake City, I thought it’d be fun to preserve a little of summer. (That, and it was the first day that was actually cool enough in my house to even think about having the oven on at all, let alone for four hours.) So, I thought I’d try out this healthy snack. It looks AMAZING from the picture on Pinterest. It turned out pretty fantastic I must say. Although, not nearly as pretty as the professionals, it tasted pretty swell. However, it was a little more chewy then I thought it would be. More the texture of fruit snacks, and I was expecting dried fruit status.
Any one else make Roasted Strawberries? Or have a recipe for them that they love? This was my first time roasting fruit, and although I didn’t quite nail it this time, I’m totally in for trying it again. Strawberries or other fruit that roasts well. Suggestions?
