I don’t often photograph family birthday parties, but when this amazing family asked me to capture the details and fun of their amazing mother’s birthday, I just couldn’t pass it up. Andrea is one of the most godly, beautiful women I’ve met. She’s one of those people that most everyone else I know hopes someday to be a tiny touch like her. And this was a gorgeous celebration of her. Beautiful, fun-loving and full of life. The perfect party to celebrate her.

Andrea touched many people’s lives as an art teacher, and so all of her guests contributed to this beautiful painting as a representation of how they have been a part of Andrea’s life. What a beautiful idea.
So much fun. And a great time of toasts celebrating what Andrea has done in so many people’s lives.
While I was busy capturing cocktail hour, my hot second shooter maned the “photo booth.” And they just make me smile :)
