Lindsey & Nick’s Rose Establishment Wedding was gorgeous. We all shed a few tears. And then everybody hugged amongst the fall colored flowers, candle light and subway tile. It was an intament Salt Lake City wedding that I was honored to get to photograph with my amazing second shooter. (I heart that guy) We loved how much Lindsey & Nick made this wedding really personal and just what it was they wanted to celebrate about their relationship. They had a fabulous friend do the honors of officiating the ceremony, which made it all that much more special. And then they just had a few of their friends in attendance to keep it an intament affair for both the guests, their families, and themselves. It was a beautiful way to start their marriage, and embark on this next chapter in their lives. After the fabulous ceremony, we got to sneak up onto the Rose’s roof for a few photographs of the newly married couple.
Once we got up there, we gave the bride & groom just a moment to really soak it all in.
I love that they spent most of our time just cracking up. These guys really know how to enjoy life :) And it’s rather contagious.
I also love Lindsey’s shoes. (I may have mentioned this already, but they are HOT.) And they fit so nicely with Nick’s Beckett & Robb custom suit.
Seriously, one good looking couple! Love this shot that Garett captured of Lindsey.
Lindsey didn’t wear an engagement ring, so this whole bling on her finger thing was pretty great. I love that she stole a quick peek of it during the shoot.
This man loves his bride. Like I’m pretty sure his heart was full to the top the day he got to call her wife.
Meanwhile, back down at cocktail hour, the guests were enjoying the time just chatting in the comfortable coffee shop atmosphere. We got to all join them for a fabulous evening of dinner, cake and cocktails. It was just about perfection. (and nobody wants exact perfection) The warm glow of the old school lights and flickering candles sent the tone. It bounced off of the white subway tile with grace and sparkled in the eyes of guests enjoying their wine. Lindsey & Nick got to hug those in attendance they love dearly, and a few toasts were given that shed light on how fabulously they fit together.
Then, there was this cake. Made by the pastry chef at The Rose Establishment, it lived up to her Rose Shortbread reputation. Beautiful deliciousness.
This is yet another reason I love it when brides book a second shooter. My perspective:
And Garett’s perspective.
Then this beauty from Something Vintage, Something Blue showed up and whisked them away to finish their lovely evening.
Lindsey & Nick, thank you for letting us be a part of your gorgeous wedding. You two are so wonderfully paired together, I am excited to see what this next chapter in your lives holds. Continue laughing, its gorgeously contagious. Hugs for you both.
