Leisa & Pat’s wedding day was just about picture perfect. That nice warm glow you get from an over-cast sky was broken up by the sun peaking through and bits of blue sky shining. With just the right amount of chill in the air, it was a brisk day that made their outdoor canyon wedding perfectly fall. They are from Michigan, but chose to celebrate their wedding day in the mountains of Salt Lake City to be surrounded by the beauty that is Millcreek Canyon. So gorgeous for a fall wedding. Even though they are from out of town, they had all of their closest friends in Salt Lake to celebrate their wedding day.  A wedding that would go down in the friendship journal as one of the most fun this group has had. A wedding that was a perfect mix of laughter, fun, and beauty.

Leisa & her besties started the day at Little America. A day that started, as every wedding should, with primping, mimosas and TONS of laughter.

We then headed up to Log Haven for the wedding. Love the lace with purple and orange as a color palette for their fall wedding.

Such a gorgeous bride! Love how the light dances in these photos. Leisa, seriously, you are stunning.

Leisa surprised her groom with a gift he was so stoked for. Love that she knows how to make this man grin, big.

One of my all time favorite moment at their wedding. Leisa’s dad walking her down to the man that makes her heart skip a beat or two. And he can’t take his eyes off her. Love that shot that Garett grabbed of Pat.

Another reason I LOVE having a second shooter at weddings. We can get such different perspectives. My view with a wide angle:

They’re married!!!! The gorgeous mountainside wedding ended with a beautiful & intimate moment of these two getting to just soak in the fact that they are married. Love that moment. :)
