For weeks it and rain. and not just rained, it had been drizzling with a gloomy overcast for like EVER. I could have swore I got magically transported to the northwest. But… just a day before the sun shone, and the warmth came back. Seriously, perfect timing for Dani & Mike’s summer wedding. Not only were the long rainy days over, but so was a nearly 5 year courtship. This day, marked the bright new beginning of a different kind of relationship for Dani & Mike, after they hand finally mastered the dating kind, they were now going to try out the husband and wife kind. :) And they had the absolutely perfect wedding to get it started.
Dani chose a lovely summer pallet… the mix of muted tones of yellow & grey with a pop of deep purple made it the perfect summer wedding.
I just love how the grey, yellow & purple just make it feel like a romantic, warm, summer evening. It kind of reminded me of the summer twilights where the mountains turn purple, but everything else is a warm yellow & slight grey.
The ladies got ready at the University Guest House. It was such a fun time of her closest friends to hang out, celebrate dani, and sneak in lots of laughter.
Ok, seriously, I know all brides are gorgeous, but Dani was stunning. She looked like every little girl dreams she will look on her wedding day. Simply, drop-dead gorgeous.
(gee… it doesn’t take much to figure out where she gets her good looks from!)

After attempting to get over how gorgeous Dani was (I still havn’t), I headed over to The Point, to take some pictures of Mike & his Manly Men.
Ok, usually the guys are kinda hard to take pictures of because, well, they’re a little awkward in front of the camera. Oh, but not these guys. I’m pretty sure they were the most fun group of guys. First, the decided they needed to help Mike groom himself. (What are they, a bunch of monkeys?) Have to say I laughed pretty hard. Then, I asked them to put their hands in their pockets. To which, a groomsman responded, “what? we are getting our hand privileges revoked for being too awkward?” So, all you blog readers, what do you think… are their hands awkward much?
It’s ok, though, these guys shape up nicely.
Not only did Mike have an awesome suit and sweet bow-tie, he also had these amazing camera cuff links that his adorable wife got him. Because, you see, Mike is an AMAZINGLY talented photographer (click the link, you won’t be sorry, I promise). I love it.
