He is an amazing role model dad. She is a hard working mom. She loves him deeply. He is a hopeless romantic. However, at times daily life can get in the way of romance, with four kids running around and two successful careers. So this year instead of a romantic date night at McDonald’s, Collyn & Ati decided to celebrate at the charming Johnson Mill Bed and Breakfast in Midway. Quite, peaceful mountains. A calming, rippling brook. A beautiful glass pond. This setting, paired with some roses, made these guys ready to relax together, together being the key word. Running two successful and full lives becomes easily a distraction from one another. They said there were here to relax and re-connect. And what I saw was love that was so much richer because of their life together. They loved so authentically, and laughed so freely. My favorite thing about hanging out with this awesome couple was their ability to love and laugh simultaneously.
Thanks Collyn & Ati for reminding me that with all the busyness of life laughing and loving together can be still so rich. Congrats you two, and here’s to many more years!
