After their amazing first look, Caitlin & Nick strolled through the beautiful Semiahmoo Resort and we took pictures of their adorableness. Basically, this is my favorite part of most weddings…. they are so super in love, just saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, and we get the luxury of taking the time to enjoy some fun locations and they get to just enjoy each other. :)
You know… places with awesome tall grass and sailboats in the background :) or sweet old tin accompanied with lots of laughter and sweet kisses.
Then we met up with the awesome bridal party. Every single one of these people is incredible. They are such a loving giving bunch, it was easy to see why Caitlin & Nick chose them to stand with them on their wedding day.
The ceremony itself was held on the dock overlooking the bay into Canada. Talk about gorgeous!
In keeping with their travel theme, they had adorable postcards from places they had been for people to write them postcards rather then signing a guest book. Such a cute idea.
The dock was gorgeous, the flowers stunning, the day full of sunshine goodness… it was time to be married.

I love how this just says how much she loves being held in his hand, and how comfortable she is leaning his strength.
Another brilliant idea they had – in order to introduce Nick to all of their wonderful guests (seeing as he’s only been in the states a short time) They returned down the aisle and dismissed their guests personally, so they all got to hug the bride & groom on their way to the fabulous cocktails on the deck.
As the sun sank low, the party lights began to twinkle… check back for the amazing details and beautiful reception.
